Mother’s day traditions

Every year the second Sunday of May in Finland we celebrate our mothers, our loving mums, in Finnish “äiti“. Usually mother’s day coincides with the bloom of wood anemones and traditionally I have always picked those beautiful and delicate flowers to my mum and grandmother. Now I’m passing the tradition to my 2-year-old, and together we made a small but heartwarming bunch.

  1. Beautiful flowers and I love the scenery. Hope to experience this kind of wonder in person during my life.
