More reasons to love Käpylä – Cafe Sose

We moved to Käpylä (in Finnish “pine cone land”) almost 6 years ago, and I have fallen in love with this neighbourhood, because of the beautiful architecture, the best neighbours ever, the surrounding nature, the squirrels, the great spotted woodpeckers (in Finnish “pine cone woodpecker”), the bohemian visor kiosk and charming summer café Siili. And now thanks to recently opened Cafe Sose!

Today we enjoyed their Sunday brunch, that is served on weekends at 11 am and 1 pm, and it was delicious. Sose offers vegetarian food and raw cakes, and during the week they have lunch soup and salad buffet, that I definitely must try soon. The interiors are cosy thanks to the old unmatched furniture and tableware that create a perfect harmony. Also children are warmly welcome, so I think we have found a new favorite café in town!
